Anyone heard of

dinovit?
Here is a link to its home page. http://www.dinovite.com/
I was looking at it because Lilly scratches quite a lot and is loosing hair EVERY WHERE. It is driving us crazy. I can change the bed sheets and with in 2 days they are covered and she doesn't sleep with us. So anyone know anything about it?

I have not used that product but I have heard it a lot on the radio, its sounds cool if it works. Do you think it is due to her diet? I hope someone can give you some advice on it!

I have changed her diet 5 times (I think I am rather light headed right now due to a new med.) but only one helped and she stopped eating it. So I am looking around for something else. I am trying another new food a cheap brand she is eating it but it isn't as good for her. but it is only temp.

I have heard the commercials for this product on the radio. Smarty scratches her face all the time. She does not have the long mustache and beard because of it . She has been on the Potato & Duck for several months, but I am not sure this is good for her coat. It seems so much dryer than before and she still scratches her face at times.

Please let us know if you try this product and if it works.

Sandi - yes the Potato and Duck can be drying - why not try adding a bit of salmon oil - that might help. My only concern with Dinovite is that the first ingredient is flax seed and that has been implicated in litter reabsorption in Coton de Tulears recently (somewhat related to Havanese). This isn't "proven" but I prefer to stick with something animal-based. Kimberly posted a good thread on salmon oil.

Katrina, maybe Lilly's problem is environmental (dust mites, pollen, mold) instead of food?
I've not heard of Dinovite...if you try it, let us know if it works.
