the name of your Hav before you named them

Kind of like a poll thing - what was the name of your Havanese before you got them or named them? Chester was Andy although I never thought he looked like an Andy. Please share yours.

Hav to hav a Hav!!!

Brody was Henrik (as in "Henrik Sedin" of the Vancouver Canucks - the breeder called his litter the Canuck litter because they were born during a Canucks game and all the pups had player names)

I don't think he had a name before I named him! I got to catch a glimpse of him when he was only a few days old --mostly I went down to check out the breeder at that point. I put a tentative hold on him, then went back and met w/him and the rest of the litter at 6 weeks. I knew right away that he was the one, and I told the breeder, "his name is Benjamin Button!". If she had given him another name I do not know what is was. Now you've got me wondering. Maybe I will ask her, but he'll always be Benjamin to me.

Whimsy did not have a name before we got her....just "puppy, puppy, puppy"! I had two names picked out before she was even born and I let my grandchildren pick which one they liked best.

Emmie came from a litter that was named after characters on the tv show, "NCIS." She was the only female pup and was named Ziva. I met her at 7 weeks, put down a deposit, and that's when my breeder started calling her by her new name. -Jeanne-

Kodi never had a name other than Kodi. But the name had a different PUPPY assigned to it before I actually met the litter and fell in Love with MY Kodi!

Mikey was named "Lucas" by his breeder.
I liked the name Lucas but my husband "Michael" didn't
We thought maybe "Sparky" but, after the first week, it just didn't fit!
So, we have: Hay Mikey (Sylvester Stallone accent)

Yunque was Torch. Well, his registered name is "Janizona's The Torch of Love", but we call him Yunque.
Aché was #4... (great breeder)
