Allsorts

For those bagging their heads on the wall trying to figure out food allergies, here's more great news from Journal of
Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition. OVER 80% OF THE PET FOODS
TESTED ACTUALLY HAD OTHER
PROTEIN SOURCES IN THEM THAT
WEREN'T LISTED ON THE LABELS

Well that's disheartening. Did the article mention specific brands?

no they didn't. Assume most. Doesn't surprise me, since that same percent is crap to begin with.

I'm not surprised Dave. There's no way to know what actually is put in processed food.

Something else to think about concerning allergies is the animal proteins we inject into the dog's bloodstream (via vaccines). The animal proteins that enter the body via the digestive tract can be broken down and turned into amino acids which can be readily used by the body. But the animal proteins that enter the body via the bloodstream from cultured viruses can't be broken down, therefore triggering an immunological response.

I wasn't trying to take away from your post. Just offering a related thought.
