Just got home from the emergency vet!!!

Oh my gosh.....We just got home from the vet with Ginger and Lizzie. We were gone from 4 to 8 and when I opened the door there were wrappers everywhere....I mean all arounf the table. Evidently they opened the lazy suzan and helped themselves.....but I Ginger was the one that ate everything. She is huge.....bloated like a ballon. Hubby took her out and she pooped seven times in like ten minutes. I called the vet and it was our vet that was on call...he told us to give her some salt and that should help her .....well we went out in the back half and gave her some....in the dark with a flashlight....what a sight!!!! We waited and waited for her to and nothing. He called us back and said that we should bring her in.....well we get them in the car and put the car in drive and guess what....yep she ...in hubby's car!!!! Yuck...she was sitting by me then went uo to the front seat...so I am trying to get her out to finish and she did a little bit more. Call the vet and told him we were coming just had to clean up a little bit. He said that she is bloated and just needs to get things out...gave us some medicine to help with the bloating....just tried to give it to her and she would not take it.....will try here in a little bit.......going to be a long night. I hope we will get pass this soon......plus I need get my carpets cleaned......what a week with my girls!!!! I will keep you all posted.

That definitely sounds scary, Megan. What was on the Lazy Susan that she ate?

We went out one New Years eve and my friend's dog had raided the pantry...raw pasta and all....the pukefest at 2 or 3am was NO FUN for them...luckily it looks scarier than it is, my main worry would be those foods that are really toxic to them and not knowing if they are just nauseos or really sick, sick
