Awww! You girls are killing me. How cute is she. She'll be taken in a minute.

The problem with me trying to help rescued Havanese, is that there are NEVER any in my area! In fact, that is what I wanted before even contemplating getting a puppy from a breeder. I had contacted Cdn. Hav rescue, but they hadn't had any in some time and I was told it would be a long while. She referred me to Ricky's breeder and the rest is history....

I have learned there were one or two Havs in the past 2+ years that went through one shelter not too far from here, but they disappeared before you could blink! Havs are rare in these parts.

I'd take another dog, as foster or for adoption, in a flash, but the rest of my family would totally disown me, I think.

Hmmmmmm...... wait a minute!!!!!!!

I want a black girl soooo badly!!
I agree, rescue Havs are RARELY in my area. There are some in Phoenix but they almost never allow them to homes with children (I have way too many of those). I don't get it.
I'd love Sassy. She's just perfect. I wonder what her story is.

Wow! She is fabulous!!! I would love to see her go to a home that knows and loves Havanese. Would they consider letting an out of stater adopt her? (I know many rescues prefer in state adoptions.)
