Milo used to be an angel, but . . .

I've been having some minor landscaping done at my house, all because I had to have a dead tree removed. My neighbors diagonally behind me have what appear to be outside dogs that bark incessantly, whenever my dogs or anyone else's go out. I thought if I put a bed along the perimeter, my dogs might not go there . . . well was I ever wrong.

While the guy was still working Milo ran out and right into a huge pile of black mulch. I guess that makes tonight bath night. Ugh! Now I can't seem to keep him out of the beds. Does anyone have any advice? Right now I want to clobber him.

Geri, dirt or no dirt, Milo looks cute.

Lizzie, my little piggie loved to romp in the flower beds and I was frustrated with cleaning her all the time. I bought ex-pens from eBay and blocked the beds with them. They come with stakes and stakes hold them in place. Now Benji and Lizzie get to play on the lawn, paved patio and deck without getting dirty in the mulch and plant debris. Good luck!

That sounds like a good idea. I have to do something, otherwise he'll have to be bathed every day and I'll be yelling at him all the time -- not fun!

Geri, I can't tell you enough how well it works. Lizzie can't drag any debris in the house and I am not vaccuuming the house and brushing her all the time! Feels great!

That looks really nice Geri! I see you are in a pickle! I wish I had an idea to offer up,but aside from the spray they make to keep dogs out of areas(it doesn't work really great) at least for me it didn't......I don't know!

Quincy loves mulch! He always poops in my mulch!

Geri, I think Kimberly has ex-pen fencing in her yard too, to protect her garden areas. The only other option I can think of is some type of border and lessons for Milo not to cross that border! Maybe some rock edging? Good luck keeping him out of it, I haven't had much luck here keeping Rufus out of the flowers! He pretends he doesn't speak english when I tell him to get out!

Sounds a lot like Milo. He acts like he's deaf. I'd like to try the ex-pen fencing. The landscaping just covers such a wide area it's going to cost me a fortune to fence. Yikes!
