A conversation with my dog
Me: How come you never help me carry in the groceries?
Brody: *blinks*
Me: For that matter, how come YOU get to sit in the car and relax while I have to go in and do the shopping all by myself? Does that sound fair to you?
Brody: *yawns*
Me: And when was the last time YOU offered to drive anywhere? OH, that's right...that'd be never!
Brody: *blinks*
Me: How come I go to work and you just lay around all day sleeping? Does that sound fair to you? It sure doesn't sound fair to me!!
Brody: *stares*
Me: Will you come and lay behind my back like a heating pad? My back is sore.
Brody: *sleeps*
Me: You're lucky I love you and can look past all these shortcomings.
Brody: *doggie kisses*
Me: You want a treat?
Brody: *woof* *tail wag*
Me: *heart melts*
