Any opinion on WholeMeals??

I saw these food-bones at petsmart the other day and bought a small bag since they had a coupon, too. Marley absolutely LOVES them He goes through this whole extended ritual of playing with them first, then hiding them etc. until he finally eats them. I have been giving him on a day and kept the other meal his kibble (which is the ONLY food the little porker does NOT like that much).

Just wondering if you have any opinion, I don't know how to judge if it's of good nutritional value, since any maker obviously put a positive spin on their product.

The ingredients don't look very good. The first 3 ingredients are rice, flour and chicken by product. Perhaps as a treat once in awhile but definitely not for meals.

I asked about them too but funny you said that cause we stopped at Petsmart and they were handing them out too! I didn't grab one but I thought it was a cool concept!

We got free samples at Westminster. While I didn't think they were that great, especially as a meal, I did give them a small piece of it. They played with it more than they ate it.

Bummer...I personally really liked the idea of a food/bone. A lot of dogs don't seem to like the hard kibble, but love to chew, so this seems like the perfect combo. They should have gone all the way and made it a solid nutritional item, I guess it will fall into the treat category after all.
