The Beach Bum...

So, I learned last week that Amy LOVES the beach! I've never seen her so excited, ever! She had the longest RLH session I've ever seen. There was sand flying everywhere. I'm hoping she enjoys swimming just as much.

She never fails to amaze me...this is the dog who was afraid of everything and shy around everyone. The kids and I took her to my parents house last week for her first overnight trip. She was perfect in the car & seemed so content and happy the entire time. I wish you guys could see "before" and "after" video of her. You wouldn't know she was the same dog! Oh, the other thing she loves is swinging...I held her while I was on the swings with my kids and she fell asleep in my arms! I have to get a picture of that. It was well worth the tough first four months because she is just a little angel now.

Here she is just enjoying the scenery

Jen,

I'm a sucker for a happy ending. That is the best news. All she needed was time to feel safe. Yay!

Jen, you made my day! I'm so very happy to hear that Amy's behavior has improved like we were all hoping and praying it would. That's an awesome pic BTW.

Jen, that is absolutely the best news ever!! I'm so glad Amy has turned into the dog you hoped she would be. It's all because your family made her feel safe and loved.
