Oh my what the wife thinks of getting a 4th Hav girl! I think 3 is just enough but adding one more, not so sure.

Do any of you out there own 4 Hav's? Could you tell me if you think 4 was too many or you ok with it? It's going to be a girl so the playing field will be 2 boys (2 years old) and one girl a year old.

Open to any comments if we should opt to getting another one?

Two boys and two girls that sounds good to me. That's only four more paws.

I'm fine with one. If my situation were different then two would be nice, but that would be my limit. LOL

Several people on here though have more than that and love it.

Wow! One dog is about as much as I can handle but I wouldn't think 4 would be much harder than 3. That's already more than I could take in my little car or manage on a walk. And way more than I could bring on an airplane, to a vacation rental, or to a sidewalk restaurant. I guess it depends on your lifestyle and if having that many would take away from other things you want to do; either because of sheer doggy numbers or finances.

I'm with you in that one is good. After going from 3 to 2 to 1, I found that it's a lot easier dealing with one, especially as far as going places, etc. Also, I found it easier bonding with one, as I didn't have to share my attention. As far as going from 3 to 4, there probably isn't much difference. I remember going from one baby to the second one was a big adjustment, but when 3 and 4 came along, it was a piece of cake and each of mine kids are 2 years or less apart in age.

Just my 2 cents on the subject. Whatever works for one isn't necessarily what works for everybody. It definitely an individual thing.
