Back Home to Cazzie
I am home from the hospital, with the surgery and two unexpected days in ICU behind me. Now, to mend and get back to normal. Thankfully, all is well. I want to thank all of you who thought of me and prayed for me.
Cazzie spent the time between my two daughters-in-law, one with Cooper the Maltese and one with Rosie the GR and grandkids. DH picked Cazzie up almost every night but some nights was home too late so Cazzie slept over. DH says Cazzie was confused...he liked to play with the dogs and kids, but wanted to go home and when home was looking for me. I got home and in bed before Cazzie came home. Two of my granddaughters who he adores brought him, so he didn't really pay too much attention to me. It was like, oh, there you are. The next day, it sank in on him that Mommy was home to stay and then came the kisses and cuddles. He got a little rough in play like he likes to do, pulling at my robe, grrr grrr, and I had to swat his butt a couple times, nothing else being at hand, no one to stop him. His feelings were hurt but he got the message. He was very naughty with house training but there was no one to take him for his walks, (DH has bad knees and can't walk far) he was just "let out" to go. He is doing much better now. Things are getting back to normal.
I also want to say that I had some bad moments previous to the surgery...getting bad news and all that, and Cazzie was always sensitive to me, would cuddle with me like a little hot water bottle.
I am going on and on, but I am back, and thank you again for all your good wishes and love. Thanks to my Good Lord also, all is well.
Love from Suzy and Cazzie wags his tail for you!
