Sunblock for Dogs????

Ok...this sounds like strange question, but does anyone notice their dog getting sunburns on places like their snout or the tops of their heads? Amy is really red after being in the sun. I'm a little concerned since she's going to be spending alot of time on our boat in the sun this summer. She has pink skin, so I'm guessing that she's getting a sunburn. Do you use sunblock or should I just get her a sunbonnet....DH would just loooov that!!

Jen, interesting you just asked this question because I just saw a sunblock spray for dogs in the fancy-schmancy dog store yesterday.

But Like Marie I vote for the sunbonnet. Pictures please!

Jen, is Amy's skin pinker on her top side than her underside? I didn't know Havs could get a sunburn. How interesting!

Yes, dogs can get sunburns. If you are worried about it, get a sunblock spray for Amy! They sell them at a lot of places.
