Daisy does agility, I'm not sure she loves it though!

Here is Daisy...she likes jumping hoops but not going up the teeter! I look pretty good with my head cut off...since the dogs are way ahead of me, it is almost better not to think. I confuse them too much. They are way better than I am at agility.

Riki...agility can be such a hoot!

Riki thinks life is grand. Just when it is too hot, he likes to stay in the tunnel!

I have never had Henry introduced to this activity. Well once we were i the area of equipment and he did not know what to do.

Besides training do the dogs learn from seeing other dogs doing the coarse?

Two weeks ago, we went to a dog event at one of the historic sites on LI. They had an agility course set up and you were able to put your dog through the course. I took Kodi through the course and he did great. The only thing he still does not like to do is "table". He would never table in class and we couldn't figure out why.

Great photos. As soon as we start outside agility classes, heck this is minnesota and they're forecasting snow for this weekend!!! I will be sure to snap some photos when we're outside. I finally remembered my video camera this week, but the batteries were dead. hello?!

havanese in agility

As long as your dogs can follow directions, sit, stay, come...and you have some treats, a good teacher, and agility equipment...these havvies learn fast. it helps to send one dog through a tunnel or something first, and then the other one will follow. Riki taught Daisy all the tricks.

riki is much more eager to please than she is, and also better at agility. If you praise and get excited, they do too!

Linda I do not have any pictures, all I have are videos. Hopefully once I get a better camera I can get some good shots.

I posted this in another thread but will post it again, this is me and Riley training for agility.
