Wink Beamer on full run of house!

Ok, so Beamer has just graduated to 'full run of the house' while we are not home! After his most recent escapes from the basement, we have decided to let him have his freedom as he was such a good boy during.
I hope he keeps up the good work of not pooping or peeing! He seems much more at ease now when we are leaving and does not cry, he just goes to his favortie spot on the sofa and looks out the window..

So, has anyone here ever had any regrets on allowing full run of the house?? hahahaha.. I hope this works out..

Ryan

No regrets. They are actually much better when I leave them home alone. They don't have accidents, don't chew anything, etc. When I leave, they are on the window shelf and when I get home, they are in the same place.

Heck, I've had my regrets about Cicero having run of the den and kitchen. He will not get to see bedrooms until he quits leaving me tootie rolls in the corner of the den a couple of times a week. He might be playing Easter Bunny and hiding his goods -- or he has got confused on our Hide & Seek game -- but it's got to stop!! I see "run of the house" a long way down the road in Cicero's future, but I was good to him yesterday and got him the largest crate I could find. I'm looking to the future myself because I think it will hold about 6 Havs!!!

Gryff has had full run for a long time. As long as my son keeps his bedroom and bathroom doors closed, Gryff is fine.

No regrets here but, like you, I did worry about what I would come home to when each girl graduated to "run of the house" status.

The only time there is a problem is when I stupidly leave a magazine on the low coffee table. It gets shredded all over the family room and the yard out back.

Tori does just fine w/the run of the house. She will usually lie on the floor where she can see the door, then sleep until we return. She's never been naughty while we're away. (Sure hope I didn't just jinx it! )

Bugsy had the run of the house since 6 months, when he became fully reliable - no regrets here.
