Oliver jumped in the Pool!!!

I can't believe it. He won't even jump off the sofa! The water level is pretty low and he just leapt in! He sank like a stone and scared me to death! Just as I was about to jump in after him, he came back up and started swimming....He never even sputtered. I scooped him out and it's hard to tell, but he didn't seem phased in the least.

The pool is nasty right now, it's green like pea soup! We just took the cover off Sunday so the contractors could look at it. Our new plaster job from last year is already cracking so we haven't balanced the water yet since it's soon to be drained anyway.

Here he is doing RLH around the pool:

And here is our PEA GREEN POOL that he thought looked so enticing!!!!

Bad Hair Day

Well, pea soup and Mommy whacking at his hair has conspired to create a very BAD hairdo. I tried to do sort of a "Sierra style" . I'd like to grow out the top a bit and was hoping a few short hairs in front would hold the rest back....ARRGGHHH!

Thank God I bought him a hat!

Because with this hairdo, he needs one!

Yikes Shelly, I lost 10 years today because of a hawk how many did you loose.

Love Olivers new hat, he looks adorable.

I don't know, my heart was thudding pretty darned hard! I'm thankful I didn't have to jump in after him though and that he seems relatively unscathed, if you don't count the fluffy hair and bad trim...probably should have waited until I wasn't shaking to trim him up!!!

I sure am glad that hawk changed his mind about your furbabies!

That had to be one very scary moment, Shelly!! I'm so glad it all turned out OK. Oliver has the most intersting markings and I just them. Hey, that hat is pretty sharp too!!

Oh my goodness what was that silly boy thinking? Would have scared me to death to see him sink. But I love his new hat - very cute.
