Inflammatory Bowel

After several weeks of trying to treat Sparky's jelly like blood tinged stools on my own (my vet is very reasonable but if I could treat it myself during this time austerity it would have been nice) the vet was necessary. She checked for giardia which was negative. She leans towards inflammatory bowel. Sh he is on flagyl, steroids for the inflammation and changed his protein source to lamb. Never a dull moment.

QUESTION: When the site detects a mispelled word it underlines it in red. I can not find the "key" for spell check. Help? Anyone?

Shelby had a sensitive stomach when she was a pup. It has gotten much better.

To my knowledge there isn't one. Most likely it is a setting on your computer. I wish we had spell check on the forum it would be VERY nice.

I hope Sparky feels better soon.

I just point and click on the red word and then I get the suggested corrections. I use Google Toolbar and it has spell check.

I am no help about IBD in dogs but I hope the steroids and flagyl work.

I am trying not to be too worried about it. I just looked over and he is curled up in one of the parrot carriers. Strange dog. I tried the various setting on the computer to see if it would give the "suggested spelling" choices. It does on AOL but cant find anything on the forum web site.

Poor Sparky, I have Crohn's diesease so I know how he's feeling
I had a dog that had bowel problems years ago and I mixed Metamucil with his dog food. It really helped the runny stools. Hope he's feeling better soon.

I have to admit that is a pathetic picture of Sparky but truly he is feeling okay.Metamucil i a good idea as is canned pumpkin. Will try to pick up both over the weekend.

I am sure you have heard it before "Stella's Mom" but that puppy picture is magnificent. I have never seen such a face!!!!

Thank you so much, I think she's magnificent too. But, I've yet to see a Hav I didn't think was magnificent
Hope you find something to work for Sparky.
