You were right about the Flossies!!

I got them on Thursday afternoon and Stella LOVES, LOVES, LOVES them, just like you said she would. I think I should buy stock in them.
She's had one every day since
Is it OK if I give her one a day or is that too much?

I don't give Oliver and Comet one everyday but they want me to. You should see the way they look at the treat cabinet.

Well, I'm only buying for one so that makes a difference. I was just wondering if giving her one a day would be bad for her tummy or something. I probably won't continue to do it daily however, they are on the expensive side.

:Jackson loves Flossies, too, and I let him have around half of it and then save the rest for another day. I have also discovered "Puppy Nibbles" Pork Puff Chews by Merrick . . . there are lots of them in the bag, and Jackson gets one every night after dinner when he continues to look at me with those eyes that say "Is this all there is?" He throws it up in the air for several minutes and dances around or runs through the house with it in his mouth before settling down to eat it. Doesn't last very long, but is a lot cheaper than the flossies.

It is a beef tendon or some body part that we don't want to know about that has been dried and curled in a spiral . . . made by Merrick and in several sizes. They say they help clean their teeth.

I try to let Toby chew on his bully stick (a different kind of chewy)when I am combing him out and it is a magic distraction. They are not cheap but I love em.

Flossies are great, but yeah, they are expensive. Here, in Quebec, they are rarely found, but the store I work at sells them for $4.99 each! NOT a daily or even weekly treat in this house! lol

Kathy, it might be a good idea not to give so many because it can be a bit much on the tummy. I suppose if you reduce the amount of kibble on the day Stella eats the flossie, if she's having one every day or other day, but otherwise, I think it might be better to vary the treats and not give too many of one kind. Just my humble opinion......
