sick puppy

mugsy was under the weather yesterday.

i woke up to find he had vomited in 2 rooms, pee'd in one and left this chocolatey pool in the bathroom.

he didn't eat breakfast and when i left for work he was wrapped in a ball sleeping.

last night he was himself again, more energy than normal and eating like a horse!

this morning, there were no messes at all to clean up, he ate breakfast and pooped on our morning walk.

do we seem to live and die with our dogs?

Absolutely! I don't freak out nearly as much when my kids are sick.

You bet we do - and the way Lola will try to eat anything she encounters that is not nailed down, it is no wonder she has days of chaotic tummy (and output). We can only sympathize and get help when it lasts too long. When I had similar symptoms as a kid, my mom always said, "take two aspirin, go to the bathroom and go to bed" and it usually passed. Same with our furkids, no? Except the aspirin part....

Glad Mugsy is feeling better. I bet the clean up was not fun however.

Glad Mugsy is better, isn't it amazing how these furbabies tug at our heartstrings and get us to have our hearts into our mouths when they are under the weather?

Best, Poornima

Good turn-around Mugsy, health is the most important thing! But your family was worried.
