a couple of finds to share

Hi all, I was just on vacation with no place to go-- so I did a bit of internet shopping for the boys found some really good deals so I thought I would share.

First: cool bed III-- I got two for the price my pet store wanted to sell one.

They also had a cute little fitted sheet to go over it-- so far the boys have just sniffed it and not used it-- so they may go back.

Next: I got these cute "Cool" Bandannas that my boys wore at the new england play date. I got the medium so I could take off the velcro and tie them. http://www.cooldoggs.com/

Third: I found this great place for Moo Bully sticks. I got 120 and it amounted to 32 cents each. (I got ones with slight odor because they were cheaper-- that was a mistake) But they came in the Moo packaging so I felt good about that.

And Lastly (well not really but all I am willing to admit) : great price on Petzlife.

That cool bed looks interesting. Let me know how it works out. I favorited the links. Thanks!

I got a bargain the other day too and was actually going to start a thread about it. I had bought a bed at PetSmart for Bailey when he first got here. It was inexpensive and I really liked it. Unfortunately he and Milo got it really dirty and I didn't know if I could wash it so I went back to see if I could get another. Not only did they have it, but it was on clearance for $9.97 -- can't beat that. Of course I also had to buy a much more expensive one but the rationale was it had a cover that zips off to go into the washing machine. It also has a matching (reversible) pillow and blanket. He'll be more comfortable in bed than I will.

Missy those are great links. Thanks. I did notice that the bully stick link had a great sale on the twisted Jr. size - 40 for $26. I guess they aren't the odor free but at only 6.5" they wouldn't really last very long to stink. The petzlife was $10 less that I paid retail at a local outlet here.

Great links thanks a lot. Avery actually has the cool bed in her crate. Shes seems to like it doesn't try to rip it out like her old bed. Also I just ordered some bully sticks. Hopefully Avery will love them.

Thanks Missy! Great finds. I think shopping from home is fun and better yet you can do it in your bathrobe

I am particularly interested in the cooling beds, thinking Tessa may like them when we do agility. Let me know if they start using them and how it works.

What was the S&H on the Petzlife gel? I use it, buy it locally. It is pricey but lasts a long time.

Do your pups actually sleep in beds? I haven't bought a bed for either Tessa or Tucker. Since they like to be on the chair or sofa right next to us I wasn't sure if they would get used.

Ha! In an effort to sleep through the night (I have KILLER hot flashes), I use a product similar to the cooling bed. It is called the Chillow and I use it every night. It does become warm to skin temp in about 2 hours. If your home is hot, that bed would be great to cool down a frenzied furbaby. I love my Chillow!

I will look at the bed (after I move!) or DH is going to strangle me!

Also Leslie informed me Pet Edge now has Petz Life. I bought both the spray and the gel there- if you need to bump up your order this is a great way to do it!

Wow. I love the polka dot bed Geri. Wow the price at pet edge on petzlife is much better than the one I showed. I don't recall what the S & H was. and I couldn't find the receipt. But it still came out less than the Petzlife site.

So far, our tile floor is cooler than the 'cool bed' I may try it in Jasper's crate in our bedroom-he has been hot lately at night. But we will be putting in the AC soon. I can't return the one I filled to try and not sure it is worth shipping to return the other one. How would I go about donating it to Rescue?

Thanks for the compliments on the boys in their cool bandanna's Boo. You took the best picture of them modeling them.
