Doggy Clean Up Advice

Ok, so I need some advice of the stinky kind. I am almost embarrassed to ask, but here goes. How do you dispose of the poos? My little puppy has done great with pooing outside, and I pick them up with the bags. I thought I might be able to flush them down the toilet, but they stick to the bag like peanut butter. It's a very messy ordeal!!! Any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know if it's legal, but I use plastic bags with my hand down inside it so it doesn't touch the droppings then pull the bag over my hand and tie the ends and off it goes to the trashcan (outside).

Dawn, I keep a cute little trash can outside the door (hidden in the bushes) and we line it with a bag and drop the bags in there on our way in. It goes out with the trash every thursday. Any Mistakes that happen inside get picked up with tp and flushed down the toilet. You do know about simple solution or nature's miracle to completely get rid of the stain and scent right? it also works great to get out other stains like wine and salad dressing... Can we get more pictures of No Name?? I like Frisco.

Missy,

Does the can outside get smelly. We spend a lot of time outside with our kids, so I'm a little concerned about controlling the "aroma". Right now they are in the garage can in the garage. We'll see how that does.

I've been trying to post pictures, but I keep getting knocked off-line. I'll keep trying.

Dawn--My Molly's poos are so small that when she goes in our yard, I just pick them up with toilet paper and flush them down the toilet. It's so much easier and less smelly than the plastic bags.

Before we got her, I made sure I had tons of plastic grocery bags, but I've barely used them. The only time really is if we go for a walk.

The house I am renting has one of these systems and I love it. I will definitely keep this. I just scoop it up and dump it in and it goes thru the soil!

We've tried the trash can outside (too smelly, esp in our hot and humid summers), and picking it up with one of the food service gloves and taking it inside to flush (too inconvenient, esp if not going inside right away, and kind of disgusting when you have guests, lol!).

Last week my DH put in a doggy doolie that Amanda mentioned and we LOVE it! No fuss, no muss. I highly recommend it!

We bought the little biodegradable bags so we just scoop it up in the bag and throw it away in the big trash can. If he has an accident inside I pick it up with toilet paper and flush it because it's so small. I feel bad to use the plastic grocery bags very often.

Your unnamed cutie is just precious!!!

We've got the Doggie Dooley system here, too. Like Jan wrote, "...we LOVE it! No fuss, no muss. I highly recommend it!"
