are you cooking your carrots because our Molly won't eat them raw but loves them cooked.

You're avoiding wheat for Django, aren't you?
I know some low calorie (1 calorie) treats, but they have wheat in them. Fromm's treats are all low cal.

I dice up apples to give Cicero for training. He has to do "something" for "every" treat he gets. I had a trainer tell me that 4 treats should fit on a dime!! His apple cubes are about the size of a dime. Cicero also loves cabbage and gets small pieces. Just try different veggies that you have out to see if he finds one he really likes. Good luck!!

i boiled the carrots, cut them up into small pieces, he kind of liked them but not sure, maybe i need to cook them a bit more to make them softer. trial and error. i will try peas.

Our vet said we could give him strawberries but they're messy. He liked them though!

Are you talking training treats? or just the "throw a treat because you love them" treat? I am telling you The Canz Real Meat Treats are the winner in this house. For both. They are 95% human grade meat from New Zealand and they only have 2.5 calories a square. But for training we break each square up into 4-6 pieces. The Canz site has a lot info.

Jasper and Cash's Favorite is the Chicken and Venison.

The best price I found is at sitstay.

Wellness has a similar treat, but my boys like Canz better. They are also a hit at the park where all the dogs want what my boys have.
