Kathy - I can't imagine that there would be many men to date in ND - and those available may not be to your taste. Or am I being an ignorant Californian and it's a wonderful place to live?
a wonderful place to live but sadly, at my age (55), the good ones are all married. I've lived here most of my life and most of my family and a lot of my friends are here so I'll be staying. All my friends are married and none of us know any suitable single guys
I never thought my life would be like this but when my husband died, my entire world changed. I'm ok alone and for the most part am happy and content but to be honest, it does get lonely. Especially considering I'd been married for 33 years when my husband died.
I did date a guy last Fall for a couple of months and although he was nice and very good to me, there really wasn't any spark there for me. And I won't settle just to have a man around, ya know? I don't need
a man, it'd just be nice to have someone to spend some time with.
Keep your fingers crossed for me though, I have a date tomorrow night with a new guy
One of the reasons I got Stella was for companionship and she's been wonderful for me.
Hope you're having a wonderful holiday weekend. I'm going to my daughter's tonight to cook her birthday dinner
