Fromm's Surf & Turf

Does anyone want to try this food? I bought Kubrick 2 bags of it, after looking for it for days on end and FINALLY finding a store that was carrying it. I thought he would love it since he already eats the other Fromm's foods and loves it! Well, he really really doesn't like it! He didn't eat at all for a whole day and the next day instead of scarfing the food down like he usually does after skipping meals, he ate maybe 1/3 of breakfast and 1/3 of dinner. He's been doing that ever since. We kept giving it to him anyway for a while to see if he got used to it, but no go. I guess I trained him well in that he's not picky at all, but when he really doesn't like it then I figure I should just go back to his much loved Duck and Sweet Potato since with that he polishes the bowl clean. It's too bad too because I really did want to go with the grain free. Oh well, he does well on the other Fromm's so I guess I shouldn't try to fix what ain't broke, no?

Anyway, if any of you want to try it, please let me know and I can then ship it off to you. You'd only have to pay shipping, not the food at all. I have an unopened 4lb bag and around another ~3lbs that I put in a ziploc. I know that to order it online is very expensive, so if anyone wants to try it and not pay an arm and a leg, please let me know.

There are lots of other grain free products out there. Don't give up. Why not try Evo? You could even mix Innova and Evo. My guys loved Evo when they were on kibble. Go to www.dogfoodanalysis.com and check out the 6 star foods. They are all grain free. There's instinct, Taste of the Wild, Orijen, etc

Daniel, thanks for the help, but I really do want to stick with the Fromm's for now!

Oh and thanks for those that contacted me already... I guess that means no more Surf & Turf left!

PS: Those who contacted me should get a PM back later tonight or tomorrow morning... I'm running out the door right now. Just letting you know!

Here's something to try when your dogs won't eat a food. Grind up some of the dry food, add water to it and mix it with the food. I don't have a clue why that makes it so good in their eyes (mouth?) but it works for my dogs.
