I LOVE MY DOG

Maybe if I keep saying this over and over it will help. This is what Titan has been working on for a month. Tried all type of thing's to stop him with no result's. I Love My Dog...It's not his fault...He is just a puppy at heart...
I think I need a new couch.

Do I remeber correctly that you work all day? Poor guy is probably bored!
I would x-pen him away from that room while you were gone, or he may just do the same thing to a new couch!

Don't be discouraged. My hamster made a bigger hole than that in my curtain because she could grab it from her cage. So, count yourself lucky that you still have a couch to sit on

Maybe you should keep this couch (or a piece of it) for him to chew on after you get your new one. Good luck couch hunting!

Yikes. Maybe he's doing his part for the economy by making you buy a new couch. At my house, I'd be introducing Titan to his brand new ex-pen.

OMG I would be more afraid that he would hurt himself on a nail/staple or swallow part of it.

Titan would be in big trouble at my house, long before he had this much destroyed! I think Titan needs a crate or ex-pen when your are not around watching him,for you to set boundaries and rules for him and a chewie.

The picture is kinda funny---but it really isn't. It is an issue that'll re-surface if you don't deal with it seriously. Titan doesn't know or care if your couch is old or new.....he is a dog. More or less love will not change this type of thing.

Good luck with this guy---set him some rules and stick to them....I'd love to see him on a new couch!

Oh my, I've had chewers before but never the upholstery - just the legs and edges of things. Although I did have a doxie mix that clawed a hole in my stucco on the side of the house and ate half way through a 6" wood pier that held up my overhang. When he started to dig to China in my new backyard, I gave him a back hoe.

I wouldn't rush to get it . . . unless you're looking for a new project for Titan.
