A Brady family Vacation

We are back from our trip to Cape Cod and we had a wonderful time! Brady was so good and I am so proud of him. We started off with a long car ride to Providence, RI where we spent one night and then continued to Cape Cod. Last night, we drove straight through back home. It was about 8 hours in the car and he was such a good boy!!! He loved the Cape. We took him swimming in the ponds at Nickerson State Park and he loved it. We took him there everyday. By the end of the day, he could barely keep his eyes open, but he managed to keep going. We went to a few baseball games with him and he enjoyed them. We also took him shopping in Provincetown and Chatham and he was great. I loved having him with us on vacation. Yes, he cramped our style a little, but that was okay. He did not like being left alone in a strange house, so we didn't leave him. We stayed with my inlaws, including my sister in law and her 3 kids (one of which just turned a year old) so they were in bed early. We were lucky that we were always able to have someone there with him. We did try the ocean with him, but it was very rough and he was terrified! I think it sounded like thunder crashing and he was very scared. He hid behind my beach chair. Here are a few pictures of my swimming boy.

Karen, great pics. It sounds like a good time was had by all. Isn't it fun to have the dog with you.

Wow - I'm so jealous. We're so much farther from the beach since our move! But I really didn't go that often - it was just the psychological lift of knowing it was close.

Looks like everyone had a wonderful time.

So glad you had a good vacation. The Cape is the best. We are going soon, also. Kodi and Shelby didn't like the ocean either, but loved the bay. Maybe we'll give the ponds a try this time.
