Mama's Boys!

Okay, I have officially created too much of a Mama's boy! I was scolded this morning and told to take Dasher as when I left him with DH so I could go get breakfast (at the hotel!) Dasher was by the door howling. I came in and he was so excited to see me again. I think I am going to have to make sure the boys do some bonding. I think with all our training and time together, he just loves his mama!

Okay who else has a mama's boy?

Oh Amanda - that's why we get little boy dogs - they are all mama's boys. I adore little boy dogs. Way better than a hubby any day of the week (unless it's your awesome DH - and a few other tremendous men I've met that belong to forum members). You ladies have some fabulous men.

Isn't it great Amanda, I have 4 mama's boys and I love it. I would be so sad if I looked down and I wasn't surrounded by my boys. Nobody loves me like the boys. Scott video taped them at the door crying one day when I was comming home from the store. He said he wanted me to see how pitiful they are. I told him they just love their mommy. Preston is the biggest crier.

Peace, Love & Havanese

LOL Amanda, I know just how you feel. Both my boys are definitely mama’s boys but Monte takes the cake. When DH told me he howls when I leave I did not believe him so one day when I left I called before I even pulled out of the drive and sure enough he was howling up a storm. The odd part is he does not do this when I leave for work or when DH and me leave together. We also went through a period were he would not even go outside to potty for DH unless I came with, thankfully that is resolved. He will sometimes still run to the living room and check that I am still sitting on the couch before he goes out but he will go

Paige- I want to see that video! Leeann- get your DH to take one too! Lisa- after this road trip, you can have DH <BG> At least we are driving seperate for some time alone although I am out of book on tape already and Texas cows don't look as happy as California ones!

I gotta have talk with Dash that mommy always comes back. I could understand if the girls were with me but he normally picks Belle over me as I just dont play bitey face the same way. He is a little mommy's boy and <SHHHH> I love it!!!

Oh, Amanda, Dasher is IN LOVE with you! Scout is love with me too. He must be with me, every second. If I sit down on the couch, he'll come flying in from whatever direction and leap on top.

I'm sorry the hotel people just don't understand

Lincoln is more independent in general, but when he's in the mood, he's a lover too!

LOL! Don't ya just love it?

I have purposely had Mousse spend most of his individual time with DH since I'm the one that will be showing him and taking him on trips. He loves me, but he's become a Daddy's boy. My husband even showed him in a puppy match last weekend and they were quite the duo!

Great thread! Adorable photo Amanda, Dash definitely found the love of his life

Carlito is pretty attached but is also independent, he loves me and sleeps right next to my pillow, but during the day, he is all about Tony. He wants hubby to play with him, give him treats, watch tv with him, etc. But Nico is a whole different story. He is mama's boy to the extreme. Neither of mine bark, but Tony tells me that every morning when I leave for my run (I leave all 3 of them in bed ) that Nico whines to himself the entire time and keeps him from sleeping.

Amanda I love the picture of you and Mr. Dash.

I have to say Posh is a mommy's girl and I'm really trying on getting her to bond a bit more with Daddy and the kids, but I do love that she looks at me like I'm the best thing in the world! She is starting to bond more with Daddy and especially my son. My daughter, well, she knows that one can be a bit of a stinker.

Meanwhile, I have my constant companion who is always near her mama and after having an aloof boy dane who would rather run out and bark at unseen critters than cuddle, I am one happy lady!

P.S.
I can't imagine having a boy who was even more in love with me than Posh. Goodness, would I instantly melt?!

I should have just named Cru 'Mama's Boy' instead. He runs to me when he thinks his is getting 'picked on' by my nine year old. HA
He also runs to 'tell' on Bunni if she has taken his flossie or if she is taking too long drinking out of his water bowl and he thinks it's his turn.
