What's Up With The Eating Worms!!!

Ok, I really hope someone else will admit that their the dog does this too. Pele' has this thing for finding worms in the yard and eating them like they are a delicacy. It is the most disgusting thing. I can't even see them in the grass. But somehow, he does, and there is no stopping him from finding these ICKY snacks.

My Havs don't do it but we had a mutt named Mindy that used to do it all the time! She would even put her lips in the dirt and suck up grubs. A doggy delicacy in her eyes. It was cute until she'd go in the house and throw up. Luckily this was when she lived with my in-laws.........

My neezers like to flip the dead stiff ones up in the air and roll on them.

Oh yeah, mine will roll on dead worms too, or live ones. It's usually after I've brushed McKenna and her silky coat shines. She's such a tomboy.

DH says the live ones are worm sushi and the dried ones are worm jerky. Scooter gets them and will RLH so we can't take them away from him! So gross, makes me want to but he loves them. Perhaps we need a "Confessional" thread to own up to all the yucky stuff that we wonder about!

Be thankful it's only worms......Quince ate a bloody bird head and also a rabbit head once the cat killed. That reaks!

Cody isn't content to just find them laying in the yard. He'll dig them up, tear them open, roll in them until he's got them smeared all over his fur and smells absolutely horrible, and then eat them!!! It's so disgusting!!!

The princess, Tess, waits until Cody finds them and then rolls with pure joy and abandon. Fortunately, she never quite finds the right spot so she doesn't get any on her. She seems to be so happy and carefree when she's rolling in them, I don't have the heart to yell at her! (Cody is such a delinquent, I have no trouble yelling at him. Not that it does any good.)

Tess' favorite activity is to eat grass. Then she gets blades of grass caught in her throat and chokes and heaves until it comes up.....and she can eat it a second time!!!
