7 week old training me

We are sitting here in the TV room watching the Olympics with the litter of three puppies in an expen. One of the families who is getting one wants theirs trained to newspaper so we have newspaper in a piddle pad frame as well as our normal litter box.

One little girl started shredding the top piece of paper while the other two were running circles bouncing off the sides of the pen. They had all just pottied so I took them all out to run around while I staightened up the paper and took all the little pieces out of the pen. Then I played with them all on the floor for a little bit and put them back in the pen.

We were watching one of the swimming races and the little girl grabbed the paper, ripped out a fair sized chunk, and was sitting there with the paper in her mouth just looking at me like, "Okay, let's go again."

We all laughed so hard until we had tears running.

That is the part of being a breeder, I could fall in love with--those entertaining times with puppies that produce undescribable laughs. But I would grieve when I had to give them away.

We have puppies so we can have puppies.

I'm going to keep bringing that up once in a while until someone understands it. So far in other threads no one has understood it.

Anyone not watching Men's Team Gymnastics is missing a memorable match. Our guys killed highbar.

Tom, You are right breeders have litters of puppies so we can keep them to show, health check and have more puppies to keep improving our breeding stock and the pets that go to great homes. It is really hard though because I keep to many of them to see if the quality is there that I want to reproduce. I need to part with more but I can't when I fall in love with their personalities, structure and movement.
We have puppies so we can have puppies.
