I'm actually disappointed... there were no other dogs there except for his mom! I think Elvis would enjoy the party a lot more if he had some pals there. I really think the party was more for his owner than for him. Kubrick would much rather have a party at Laurie's house with mud than a fancy dinner with a hundred people he doesn't know.

how much could be done for rescued Havs with that money?

Just think how much could be done for rescued Havs. or other dogs in general for that much money?
Great that he loves his cute little pooch so much, but goodness start a fund in the dogs honor and donate the interest earned every year or a one time donation to a worthy cause. What a waste!

I agree - it was not really Elvis's party .. dogs need other dogs ..
I am all for it as long as they get to have some fun and not to lie around and watch the owners drink Cosmos ..
I thought it was a cool idea . ? What's next confirmations and coming out parties ???

Missy, really? That's surprising to me. Maybe because I'm from Brazil. Usually there the parents also have a party while the kids are playing but there's no way you'd have a party with no kids and just adults! Usually it's a bunch of kids, a bunch of adults and if the kids come to ask the adults for something they always send them off to play since they're having fun talking, eating and drinking, LOL. I don't remember a single birthday party of mine that wasn't filled with kids.
