Getting ready for the "Big Snip"

Riley is heading into the Vets on Thursday for his "procedure". Here he is modeling his onesie... Little does he know.

A friend has sent me a link to this site: http://www.neuticles.com/ I'm not too sure just WHAT I think of this!
Ummmm...Ryan??? Your thoughts? I wouldn't want Riley to lose his "self esteem"!

Wow I wish I'd seen this before JoJo's procedure, it would have certainly helped MY self esteem but I'm not sure it would have meant much for JoJo, he seems exactly the same as he did before.

Seriously though, we haven't noticed much change in JoJo's behavior since his "procedure" about a month ago. On the other hand, I was actually very surprised at how difficult it was for me, as a male, to have this done to JoJo. I never thought it would matter to me but that just goes to show, you never know.

Well to be perfectly serious. I know that this is totally for the owners of the animal. AND, if it means more critters get neutered and less unwanted pets are brought into this world...well I am all for it!

Riley is TOO cute! Is that an actual infant's onsie or is it a doggie outfit? It's adorable either way. He's going to be quite the little model while he's recovering.

It's an actual infant onesie! I cut the hole for the tail...

And thanks! He's a sweetie, thought he's starting to be a real whiner. I hope it's just a phase he's going through. (or maybe he knows where he's going thursday!)

Oh yes, I've heard of those. The classic story is a person who thought their puppy boy only had one testicle so they had an unscrupulous vet insert one of the neuticles and at a show when dog was about a year old, the judge doing the exam found three "testicles." The one had dropped into place and the dog was sporting an extra.

Oh! Riley looks so cute!!

My mini poodle Sam was just neutered a week ago today! It was night and day for him when it came to pee mistakes in the house. He has never lifted his leg so I wasn't sure if it was marking, but he would have at least 1-2 mistakes a day, sometimes more, even when we took him out once and hour at least!! But....he hasn't had one mistake since we brought him home!!! He also wore a onesie so we would have been able to tell if he had!! (I hate to admit it, but Riley looks cuter than my baby Sam in his!! lol)

Also, he used to be very hesitant and submissive at the dog park. We were there last night and he was running all over and initiating play. I'm not sure if that change had anything to do with him being neutered, but I was sure happy about that too!

Good luck to you and Riley, I'm sure he'll do great!

Riley is so cute in his onesie that this outfit is worth wearing all the time.
