Thumbs up Bully Sticks

On the advice of some of you, Brutus received some Bully sticks for
Easter. We let him chew away yesterday, but then we decided he would only get to chew on it when he is in his x-pen. He cried to get INTO his pen this morning because he could see it just sitting in there. I put him his pen and then left to run errands without a peep out of him.

Thanks for the great suggestion.

You welcome! That sounds like it worked out well for you! Ayla had one last night and boy she can finish it off completely in short time! I love to watch how she holds it with her feet.

I'm also going to buy some bully sticks, although I think I will have to order them through the mail. Our local places do not have them.Maybe they know what they really are?!Yikes!Anyway,it nice to read your dogs enjoy them, and I will let you know how mine does in the future!

They really eem to be catching on lately . I have a source down here and she used to always have bully sticks in all the sizes because it is nuts to buy the big ones for a little dog .
The last time I was in her shop she had sold most of them and I took the last ones .. I like hers because they are good quality and do not smell as badly .
You can buy them on Sit Stay .com in a pinch ..
Petco has them sometimes but they sees to prefer to sell all the rawhide which is really not that good and the quality can differ fom product to product which makes me nervous ..

Be sure to check all around locally. One dog store in town here calls them "pizzles" and one calls them "bully sticks". I can also find these in an Ag supply or farm supply.

I was at the petstore yesterday and I was staring at them..and they were shaped in pretzel shapes. And something about the idea of what they actually are...I just couldn't do it. I went and got some milkbones instead...lol!

Even the pigs ear..I can't see my puppy chewing on something as a snack that would, in essence make me want to hurl...lol Even if he does like it.

My 2 aren't crazy about them, but will chew on them. They also like Texas Toothpicks (tails from something) and the Flossies are still the favorite.

Have you tried the flossies? Those are GOLD here. I am on automatic delivery. But the dogs groomers, Billie Bonze carries them also. You can order them from onlynaturalpetsource.com

We do not have any pet shops here, but I do want to order some.My guys love the pig ears, but after seeing Animal Planet Emergency Vets show with the vet saying they are not good for dogs,I quit buying them.I know it's gross, but so is trimming the hair around the dogs butt, and we do that!I'm just over it I guess......
