Here's a picture of the look I get from Tess when we're on a walk and she stops dead in her tracks and won't move another step.
That's usually my question: "Whaaaaatttt????
Her pupspectation? "Get it off of me, get it off of me!!!!"
I've learned that this look (different from I just want to stop and sniff the air) means she has a twig, or leaf, or piece of grass, stuff to her foot/belly/tail/butt and she wants it off --- now!
I've tried to explain that all she has to do is reach behind her and pull it off, but no, it's much easier to make mom reach down and take it off.
One of us is very well trained.
