Cherrybrook International Shipping?

Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with Cherrybrook international shipping, specifically to Canada (Ontario)? It looks like Piper's (errr.. I'm ) getting a CC Kool Pup dryer for Christmas and it's been a pain trying to find somewhere that ships to Canada. Cherrybrook does but it looks like they use a third party company that would give me a US address then ship to me from there. Has anyone ever used them? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

And because I know everyone here loves a good pup picture, here's a recent one of my gorgeous gal!

Piper's adorable!

I'm interested in what you hear back. I went to the site after seeing it mentioned in a few posts, and was blown away by the selection. But the International shipping method made me a bit leery. But if I hear that someone has had a positive experience, I might try it!

I was scared when i went to the checkout and saw the ridiculous price they wanted for Canadian shipping (plus they often charge extra duty when they deliver).

Do you live close to the border? I live an hour from the US border and I set up a PO box at a US border town to ship items to. It costs me $20/year (or $2/item if you only ship things occasionally). A lot of border towns do this. You just drive over, pick up your stuff, declare it when you drive across. I order all sorts of things off the US online sites now (clothing, shoes, etc.); it's always cheaper than in Canadian stores. I have a bit of an online shopping addiction now!!

Piper is beautiful, and definitely deserves a nice Christmas present...

Would it be cheaper to ship to someone in US and then have them take it to post office and send to you? If so I would be willing to do that.

No, i asked my brother to do this, he looked into it, but shipping from US to Canada is stupidly expensive for some reason and there are still customs and duty fees to deal with.

Thanks for the idea, this might be something to try. I'm about an hour and a half from the Niagara Falls crossing. Dog Show Store will also ship to me, but wants near $60 in shipping plus who knows what for duty, which is more than ridiculous. I'm just trying to search around and see what my best option is.

It looks like a US PO box is my best option right now, but thanks a ton for the offer!

Yes, I'll definitely let you know if I find anything out or in my own searching find something better! Congrats on your pup by the way! Piper isn't a Rockhurst herself, but our breeder has a bit of Rockhurst in their lines. Beautiful dogs

Did you try phoning the Chris Christenson Ontario supplier to see if they carry them (or know who might?).

Nope, I didn't even think of that for some reason. Thanks, I'll give them a call when I get a chance!
