Sickening

This picture made me sick.

Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, who's starring in "Hairspray" on Broadway, brought her stylish pooch to Us Weekly's party for its list of the 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers (O'Day made the list), Sept. 12, 2008.

I agree Katrina. That dog is either extremely sleepy or miserable.

Ryan, it looks like a Maltese.

or maybe all the flashes going off

ARGH!

There was a local Wizard of Oz production that had a young yorkie playing Toto. By the second act he was biting the hands of "Dorothy" trying to get away from the lights.

I went backstage and encouraged them to use a toy the rest of the show. I also massaged his ears and gave him some rescue remedy to help calm him down. I could not believe the mother of the girl who owned the dog. It was cruel to expect a puppy to stand through the length of that show with the noise and everything else.

I winced while watching the show and went backstage once again to plead with them to use a toy dog. I told them the dog took too much attention away from the players. I don't know if they listened...but I told them I was a dog therapist and trainer.

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!

Oh, the poor puppy looks miserable. As to the breed, I would guess it to be a Maltese/Yorkie, aka Morkie.
