Ziwipeak

Check out all the samples Ziwipeak mailed to me. They all love it even Bella! Since Bella is super picky I will feed her this but I'm going to keep the boys on the Primal. It has less fat.

Oooo that's cool, how did you get all the good stuff? My two love Ziwipeak and I like to use it interchangeably with Primal. Ziwi also is great to use for treats. Mae will eat Ziwi as her lunch most times since it's quick and easy and she needs to eat 3x's a day. I'm going to take freeze dried Primal and Ziwi when I go to Florida with the pups over Christmas they are so great for traveling. That's great that Bella likes Ziwi, I know Tim is picky and he likes it too.

My dogs, even picky Tycho, love Ziwipeak. Fat is GOOD for us and for dogs, please, please please don't be fat-phobic, there is SO much research out there to say that NOT eating fat is dangerous. Carnivores in the wild go for the fattiest parts of their kills first, starting with the marrow. It is essential for brain and body health. It is sugar that you must avoid, ergo simple carbohydrate which converts to glucose. Sorry same old hobbyhorse, but we have been brainwashed to be fat-phobic and we really, really must rethink this for our own and our dogs' health!!!!!!

Thanks for the info! Trust me my guys eat fat I'm guilty of feeding them table scraps too

They eat fat but I won't let them get overweight. Scudders is 1/2 pound over weight and I'm ok with that.

It isn't a belief, Kicker0927, it's science. It's true. It's backed up by mountains of evidence. Check it out. If you can bear it, go to a thread I started called "Food For Thought" in the Coffee Shop section and watch the Robert Lustig films. It will change your life if you follow up on it. I'm so saddened by the way people still laugh at the very idea that they might have been fed (literally) a load of rubbish by governments for decades. Read Gary Taubes on the subject ("Why We Get Fat"). Goodness, I know I'm a pro-fat bore, but it MATTERS! And I care that people should unlearn the damaging nonsense that has led to the obesity epidemic in your country (if you are American) and mine (UK). And that already threatens our pets.
Linda, they won't get fat if you feed them fat, they'll get fat if you feed them simple carbohydrate - biscuits and bread and sugary things and rice and pasta.

Yes. I agree. I just don't feed them grains. Not worried about fats as I also add fish oil and cocunit oil to their food. I'm sticking with primal for my boys mainly because I feel its the best for them. They've tried several grain free foods and some make them blow up. I just count calories not fat.
