Question What's a good product to use to clean up

pee pee from hard wood floors? I've heard that you shouldn't use anything that contains ammonia. Is this true? What do you all use to clean up after your puppy?
Thanks

Christy,
No, I meant ammonia. I is cheap, dries fast, doesn't leave a residue, and is the primary ingredient in all wood laminate floor cleaners.

Vinegar I use for a final rince on the dogs after shampooing and conditioning, in a mixture of pinesol, water and vinegar as a safe bug/fly/flea spray, and in my spray bottle with water as a training tool.

I have hard wood thruout my house & I use Natures Miracle. I have not seen any problems with the wood. I love it as it does not leave any smells behind.

I haven't tried it but have seen at Petco or Petsmart a product specifically made for hardwood floors.

I've read that you need to use a product to remove the odor so the puppy won't go there again. I've read that Nature's MIracle is a good one--Laurief previously mentioned it.

Thanks! I have never used ammonia to clean with before and never would have guessed to try! We just got laminate down this year, so I'll have to look into that!

We are about to remodel our house and put down hardwood floors. Valentino is still not completely housebroken....if he pees on the hardwood will it "warp" the wood?? Also, Laurie, do you use the Natures Miracle to just clean up any "accidents" or to just clean your floors routinely?? Thanks! vicki
