I checked my phone messages today and there was a lost pet alert message. It told me the owners name, the dog's name, the vicinity where the dog was lost, the date, and phone numbers to call. I hadn't ever heard of such a thing. It came through this web site.... http://www.findtoto.com/
It sends phone messages to people in a certain area. If there is no answer, as in my case, they leave a message.
Have any of you ever received such a call? I think it's a great service.
I get email alerts through HomeAgain, but I hadn't heard of something like this.
It would get a faster response than email though and reach more of the neighbors. According to their recommendations, most people would be going w/ the $400 option, but that's a small price to pay to get a pet home safely.
What a fantastic service! I just spent the past hour or so on the web site, crying my eyes out for all the lost babies (most found, thankfully). I pray I never need their service but have bookmarked the site just in case.
