i love my dogs!

the idea of having one of them missing, lost, gone and not with me makes me crazy.
the idea that one might be in danger, might be sad, lonely or scared puts me in a helpless rage.

not knowing what might be happening or might have happened to one of them puts my mind and spirit in an endless, agonizing loop.

i love my dogs despite the mess and craziness they bring into my life and home.
i love my dogs but nearly as much as they love me - i have much to learn from them.

greetings from mugsy & me

Joe,

Ditto! I can't imagine my world without my babies, even on days when Milo makes me crazy after he rushes to tell me he just made in the house . . . yet again.

Just Milo and me, and . . . Bailey makes three . . . until Ruby said, "hey, what about me?"

Joe that is so sweet and I am with you. I think we all have been holding our pups a little closer these days.

Joe...losing a pet is heartbreaking. It's been almost a year since I lost my 17 year old Pom...and I still miss her daily and at times shed tears. These furbabies can really teach us a lot about love!!

Maureen...so glad to see you back on. I've wondered what happen and how Molly was doing. Welcome back!!

I totally agree. This terrible nightmare with Cooper being lost is really scary! I looked at my boys yesterday and told them they'd better not get lost or run off because I'd be miserable without them. Told them they aren't allowed to even think of it! lol Like you said, Joe, it is very scary thinking about these things.

When my dad and I were chatting over lunch a week ago, we started talking about when he and his wife will be gone and he asked me what I'd do with his Jack Russell, Davey. He was almost in tears when I said "I'd take him of course!" and then we were both crying just thinking about it! I told him only people who are passionate about their pets think this is totally normal. Others just think we're nuts!

And on that note, let's just enjoy every day we can, in the moment and know that the love we share with our furbabies is something special indeed. ((hugs))
