morning routeen

before my dogs diagnosis of addisons, he was a very picky eater and most mornings wouldn't eat. my husband always takes him for a walk first thing in the morning and he always poops, food or not. then he comes home and the pup eats. now with the sun rising later, and now that he eats his breakfast, i'm trying to figure out what's the best system for the morning. should i feed him first thing in the morning, we are early risers and then wait until the sun rises to walk him or walk him and then feed him later.

Try it both ways and see what works best! My morning is let the boys out to potty....they will pee and poo. Then feed them. They will be ready to poop again around 9:30 or 10:00, but if I'm at work they will hold it until I come home~noon at the latest! I'm glad to hear Django has his appetite back!

I would try both ways and see how he does. I usually get up at 8 let them all out and they usually poo and pee and then feed them all. Then they usually go again in a couple of hours. I think he will let ya know which way he likes...but if he likes either way then choose which way is best for you guys. Good luck!!! I am glad that he is doing better!!! I love your avatar pic of him!!!
