Gitter has really runny poops

It just started today. Do I need to run him to the vet? A couple of days ago I did try a new food, a couple of handfuls, and that is the only thing that is different.

Should I see how he is tomorrow. He isn't acting ill. Still running around and being goofy but...

Oh yes he went out 15 minutes ago and again just now runnier poop the second time.

The new food probably did it. Boil him some white rice and feed for a couple of days to see if that wont stop it.

Just wanted to add that you should feed boiled rice with chicken or beef... rice alone isn't enough to keep his tummy full.

My vet suggests pumpkin to settle the digestive track. Buy a can of mashed pumpkin and feed a few teaspoons.

Hi Hedy... sorry Gitter is "upset". That's not fun! Roxie has had that problem several times after eating something new that didn't agree with her (and once after eating most of a package of Oreos!!) The rice and chicken did the trick for her. As long as he's drinking plenty of water and acting normal you are probably fine to try and get things back on track yourself.

Cazzie had the poops yesterday. All over the house. In fact, I think there were only two rooms he DIDN'T hit, including the quilt on my bed. Major Yuk! I don't know what happened, but he's fine today.

He sends get-well-soon lickies to Gitter!

Sorry to her about Gitter has a poopy bum lol

Just make sure when introducing a new food that you do it very slowly over the course of 5-7 days slowly mixing it in with the old food.

Chances are if your parents never had kids...you won't either...

Thank ladies.

We are making some solid (pun intended ) progress today based on the poop on the floor. Argh! We seem to be going backwards in the training area as of late.

I guess I had better keep him attached to me until we get back to going potty outside.
