Talking Scooter's New House!

We just received Scooter's new cover for his crate in our bedroom. I didn't like the way it looked and wanted a cover that went along with the decor in the room so I took photos, sent them to her, she purchased fabrics and sent me photos of it to be sure it was what I wanted. It was made by a Hav owner who just recently joined the forum and she makes other things too, she's working on a brochure. She's located in Massachusetts but ships anywhere. I LOVE this cover so I wanted to post photos here. Unfortunately Scooter wouldn't go near it, I guess he was wondering why I was trying to get him into his bed when it was light outside! I took a few photos. Her e-mail address is [email protected] and her name is Gay.

Wow-!!
It's a far cry from the old Steelers fuzzy blanket that covers Pixie's crate.

Wow! It looks great! Too bad my guys don't care for sleeping in a crate. They prefer the floor or my bed. The only time Bogart would use a crate is when I had it in the living room where he could see me if he was in it. Unfortunately I wasn't about to have a crate in the middle of my living room.

Chances are if your parents never had kids...you won't either...

DH won't let him sleep on our bed. I keep telling him he's mean but we do put him up with us for a bit before we go to sleep. He squirms around like crazy! (Scooter, not DH!) I don't think I could sleep with him there. Our bed is very high up too so I worry that he could hurt himself if he jumped or fell during the night.

That's really good looking, Ann! Pretty fabric. I bet Scooter will love it.

My bed is high, also, and I had my son make stairs for Tucker that match the bedroom furniture. The photo looks red, but it's really a deep plum/brown color. Tucker loves it, and it's strong enough for us humans to use, too. I love it. And, I figure in a few years I won't be able to get on the bed without it, myself!

I love that idea! I can't do it because my guys no longer sleep in crates.
