Wild Wolf Dreams!

I just couldn't wait to share this. Saydee was napping on the floor next to me in my office this afternoon and it was really peaceful and quiet. I was deep in thought when all of a sudden she lifted her head up and started HOWLING a full-blown howl, WOLF-STYLE!!! She repeated these long howls 6 times with her little bottom "fangs" showing and I wondered for a second if she was awake but her eyes were still closed. Then she kind of grumbled and chewed and opened her eyes and glanced over at me like, "What are you looking at?" It was so funny! I've been chuckling to myself ever since.

I've never seen anything like it! My dogs have always had little whimper-y dreams and sometimes their legs will look like they are running, but this was a first. Maybe it's those raw NV medallions I've been feeding her - tee hee. She's a WILD woman!

Maybe she was saying, "What woke me?" Ha!

No howling, but crying, running and growling in their sleep.

Tucker has done that in his sleep a couple of times. Scared me the first time, until I was sure he was "sleep howling." It really catches your attention, doesn't it? When Tucker did it, he only did it for a few seconds, kind of like "whoo-hooo-hooo!" then lifted his head and looked at me like, " what did you wake me for? What was that?"

Riley runs, growls, whimpers and does muffled woofs in his sleep. I've never heard a howl! What funny little critters they are! Don't you wish you'd had a video?

No howling here. Just whimpering, grunts and other odd sounds. I'd love to see one of them howl. I've even tried howling at them once or twice to see what kind of reaction I get. Needless to say, they looked at me like I was on crack!

Chances are if your parents never had kids...you won't either...
