TWILIGHT THE MOVIE!!!

Hey all!

So, Ms. Twilight Stalker here (thats my myspace.com name! lol) was asked by a friend of mine to see the Twilight movie on Tuesday for the premi. The movie is coming out at midnight tonight (so Friday)... and is already a big number top seller. Yay! My friend works in promo for a big radio station here in Sacramento. He was in charge of the big event and he promised me he would keep me posted if and when I could go. THANKFULLY I COULD!

I was impressed. My only complaint is that it was not long enough. There were a lot of things that were left open/hanging that left my friend with questions that I later had to answer.

But even he was impressed. He thought it would be stupid and dumb. But he laughed at all the right parts, said, "Oh DAM*" at all the right parts, and even jumped a few times.

I will say that I kinda screwed myself on this movie. Only reason why... I watched every trailer, interview, recap, fan website, extra clips, and bootleg videos from the UK... so I kinda had seen the movie without knowing it! LOL But, it was still good.

Infact, I purchased the sound track a week before and knew all the songs. So I was singing along during the movie! lol My friend laughed at me and called me a looser. LOL I took that with pride!

Just thought I would share to my fellow "Nezzer" Twilight fans. I even came home and told Bugsy and Roxy all about it! LOL

We bought tickets for the 2:30 show tomarrow. I thought about going to the midnight showing but the kids have school tomarrow (not that they would care about getting no sleep..lol)
I can't wait to see it! My two older kids both read Twilight after I finished it and now my Mom is reading it and almost finished.. They all loved it just as much as I did!

Twilight was my pick for book club this month, so instead of having a regular meeting, we're going to see it tonight at 7:30 or so. Looking forward to it. I'm sure Ivy is going tonight too, right?

Me and my girls are going to see it tomorrow. I am always a little disappointed in movies that I see, after I have read the book. The books are always better. But me and my girls loved the book, and we what a vampire for a boyfriend too.

Peace, Love & Havanese

my 11 year old read the book in a day

Wow...I am a hopeless romantic so movies and books like this appeal to me. Then I go to sleep and dream about them being young and adorable again...and of course, I am the one in love with the sexy vampire! LOL

Good thing I have my dogs to keep me sane!

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!

The kids and I all LOVED this movie! I always prefer the book to the movie but I have to say they did a really good job with the characters and storyline on this one.
I'm planning on going back to see it again this weekend (which I NEVER do)
I'm a Twilight junkie...just can't get enough!

I haven't been on the Hav board much this week because I've been spending every computer moment re-reading Midnight Sun. I saw the movie for the second time today with my son. I have to say I wasn't thrilled the first time I saw it, but was much happier about it the second time. There were a few scenes that bugged me on first watch, but seemed to go much smoother on the repeat viewing. Robert Pattinson is my new hottie. Yeah yeah, so he was born the same year I graduated high school. I can deal with that!

I'm going to see it again next week while I am waiting to get my Harry Potter Beedle the Bard book at midnight. I'm such a geek.

If you haven't read Midnight Sun yet and you're a Twilight fan, you absolutely must read it. It is the Twilight book told from Edward's perspective. The rough draft of the first 12 chapters are on Stephenie's website: www.stepheniemeyer.com.

Favorite parts of the movie: I loved when Edward and Bella showed up at school together. He was so hot in those sunglasses and with a smile on his face. The entire Port Angeles part was awesome. And of course, the kiss in her bedroom. I loved when Renee asked if she was being careful!

I am such a total Twihard geek. I was the only person at the midnight movie in full vampire makeup. I got this great stuff that sparkles better than Edward did in the movie.

My problem with the movie is only that for people who didn't read the book, I don't know if the relationship between Bella and Edward was plausible. The book develops so much of that in Bella's head, and in the movie, they meet, and BAM! they are madly in love. I liked the movie because I knew the background, and that Rob Pattinson...well, he's just drop dead gorgeous.

Thanks for the link, Ivy. I thought it was just one chapter that was online...now I have some more reading to do!!
