Christmas ornaments of dogs

Christmas ornaments with most dog breeds, including Havs, although they aren't the best likeness, still they are neat. But, expensive.

We have to do better than those prices. I always like to get something for the Christmas tree to remind me of something special. But, I am not going to pay those prices.

What I have done, which I will probably do this year...is take a small picture of Dexter and put it in a small frame and hang it from the Christmas tree. I also put small pictures of relatives that I do not see often and it reminds me of my loved ones during the holidays.

Yup I have seen those...but not going to pay $100 to have both of my boys like-ness hung on my tree.

I found this wood one one year ...but they are not making them anymore (and I have been kicking myself for not buying it then. Whose dad did those amazing santa carving ornaments? We could commission him for next year!!!

Not, as unique as Julie's wonderful design (I can't wait) ...but I was in a pet store the other day and found a little white havanese ornament like the one I posted above minus the fence and garland. so of course I bought it...I AM going to hav a hav tree in a few years I think...LOL... anyway here is the company and then the Havanese...

I haven't found an ornament that looks enough like Stella yet but my Mom made her a counted cross stitch Christmas stocking and tweaked the patttern a bit to resemble her markings. I posted a picture of it on my blog if anyone would like to see it.

Sheri, a group of friends went together last year and got me those for Christmas. One for Rudy, one for Rocky. They are so much prettier in person than the picture shows. Truly beautiful ornaments!

AKathy, your mom is wonderful to do these stocking for you all. How precious! And Stella's is over the top--your mom must have good eyes!

Cindy, what good, generous friends you have! How fun.
