NAUGHTY puppy!

I left Miley inside today, as it is -30F here in Nebraska, with windchill warnings. We have a little gated area for her in the laundry room. Little stinker CHEWED a hole through the gate and got into the living room. (She is only allowed in this part of the house WITH supervision!) When DH got home, she was looking over the couch at him, with the "Look What I Did Today!" look on her face. Thank GOODNESS she didn't decide to open all the wrapped presents, or chew on cords, or furniture, or whatever else naughty puppies do when they're bored! Looks like I'll be stopping at Walmart to get a better gate on the way home, as it's not supposed to warm up here til at least Thursday....

Renee, Miley, & Copper too!

Oh yes, been there! With our very first Havanese, we used a baby gate that he chewed through with great ease. That plastic gridding is easier to chew through than most of their chew toys!

By the way, that's not naughty - that's a SMART puppy you have! LOL!

Hahahahaha...you are LUCKY!
Funny story...about 11 years ago we had a keeshound (now at the rainbow bridge) and a mixed breed puppy (no longer with us either)...anyway, we were going to Magic Mountain and my son forgot his jacket, so ran in the house to get it as we were leaving...
Well, since we were to be gone all day I had put the dogs in the laundry room, and my son's room is off of the laundry room...well, he didn't close the door as he came back out!
We were gone for about 15 hours! When we opened the door (after midnight, and exhausted)...there was poop and pee everywhere...couch cushions on the floor and chewed in the corners, there were tiny beads all over the floor...EVERYWHERE...the dogs chewed up my daughters beanie babies...it was like walking into a home that had been ransacked! hahahahahahaha....at the time it wasn't funny though...

Same thing happened to me with Scooter but he got out of his crate! Now we have a carabiner clip on it for when we leave the house. I came in to the look, "Look at me, I got out!" I was searching all over the house to make sure he hadn't left a "present" for us to find later but he didn't.

Funny little doggies aren't they!!!

I guess my question to your story is "Do you leave her outside all day while you are at work?" That is how I am reading the first sentence. Havanese shouldn't be left outside especially in cold climates. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Oh, my, you could read this that way! I sure hope it was a matter of sentence structure!
