First Dog Park visit

We are visiting my parent's in beautiful Naples Florida for the week and brought the dogs. My younger daughter swims competitively so she been swimming every morning and I kept passing a dog park sign on my way to the pool. This morning DH and I decided to take Tim and Mae and they had a blast, it was such a nice place. I know there has been some mention of not such good experiences but there was so much romping and wrestling by about all ten small dogs there. We met a few really nice puppy parents and I learned everyone's schedule so we'll be back. To my surprise Mae was quite the submissive one but was also the smallest. DH took pics so
I'll post them later.

I'm so excited to hear that Timmy & Mae had fun at the dog park! I take Emmie to various dog parks in the Seattle metro area 1-3 times a week and she has a great time. We've been doing this for 18+ months and she hasn't had any negative experiences thus far. The only bad experiences she has had have occurred with unattended dogs outside a coffee shop, a neighbor's off-leash golden retriever, and being bitten by a friend's lab at the beach. -Jeanne-

So glad you all enjoyed yourself. We're regulars at 2-3 dog parks and our dogs all love it. Even those who don't like to play love to wander around smelling and peeing on everything. We tend to stick to parks with enclosed small dog areas and have never had a problem. We've met great people and dogs. Have fun!

I can't wait to see the pictures! Chester and I don't go that often to the dog park, because we have a ginormous backyard and Chester has a next-door neighbor dog friend.
