how much time in the cold?

We are in a very cold cycle here in New England. So wondering how long the boys can spend out back in single digits? if they seem OK and want to stay out is that OK?

Missy, not sure, but when Beamer has had enough he runs to the door. or he puts his paws up.. Then I know he wants to get out of the cold. It was -22 this morning here in toronto!

We also are experiencing extreme cold. The high today is 9 F; tomorrow it is 1. Yesterday, for the first time, I could tell that Scout's paws were in pain from the cold snow. After coming in, he wouldn't step on one of his back paws. I wiped his paws dry, and he is fine, but I am not leaving him out for more than a minute or two until it warms up.

We are having some very cold temps here as well. Its suppose to be in the negatives. I know Betzie is not doing well with it. Hubby said last night she was standing only her back paws. He went and picked her up. Poor baby!!! I am going to see if some botties would help. She will be put down to potty then picked up and taken in.

It's very cold here too. Tasha doesn't mind cold too much but when it's this cold once around the block is our limit. If her feet get cold at least I can carry her home unlike a 50 lb dog.

I am always amazed by how much this breed loves the snow and cold. They are suppose to be used to warm climate yet mine hate the heat.
