Crazy Weather Conditions

Crazy how different the weather can be. We're having unusually warm conditions for this time of year. It's 85F today, here in this part of SoCal. I never did buy Ginger a sweater or anything like that. She would never be able to wear it. Too bad, because some of them are so cute. Well, I won't complain as I'm in shorts and a T-shirt today. Feel for those of you in the Arctic Blast areas.

Lucky you!! Chicago's winter has been extremely cold and snowy. We think it's a heat-wave if it gets above freezing!

The grass is always greener... you guys need some rain! Yes the weather is crazy we have over a foot of snow. Sadly Mae, after this winter, may have spent more time on snow than grass in her short life. I just finished crocheting one of her many sweaters today. I enjoy the season change, I think I'll appreciate Spring much more this year

OK, Jen, never mind the Kool Pup, now we need a crochet pattern!!! Seriously, it would be great!

Here in Oxford we are badly flooded - many people in the south and south west of England have had their homes inundated and have had to evacuate; a whole chunk of railway-line fell into the sea off Cornwall last week, the Thames burst its banks yesterday and flooded bits of London, and last night we had really quite frightening gales. I let the dogs out into the garden before bed, not quite realising how wild it was; a gazebo sort of thing had blown over completely, and we have a Wellingtonia (giant redwood) in our town garden (the Victorians did some seriously un-sensible planting!!) that was thrashing about really scarily. I got the dogs back in very quick sharp! It's still blowing crazily this morning.

It getting tough here in the NorthEast. Conditions are dangerous, before AND after the storms. Limited visibility, tall snow banks you can see around, lots of folks unable to walk on the sidewalk and in the street. Dodging the ploughs. Waiting for Spring.

Mother Nature is going crazy. :crusty: I'm afraid to see what spring and summer will be like. More severe storms? I truly hope not. Be safe everyone.

The weather is crazy. Here in South Carolina, we just had a doozy of an ice storm. Hundreds of thousands still without power. And then last night a 4.4 earthquake occurred in Edgefield SC and was felt in GA, VA, NC!

Well, the weather you guys are having in the States puts our piffling floods and gales into perspective! I'll stop feeling beleaguered. Actually, we are pretty lucky in our bit of Oxford, others have lost their homes and are in a really bad way….

I don't really use a pattern anymore but I started with this pattern and have modified it to meet my needs. http://adoginasweater.blogspot.com/2...-tutorial.html This is a pretty easy, trust me if I can do it anyone can.

My guys are a bit under the weather today I think I made a bad batch of chicken jerky, weird because we ate the same chicken the day before. No baths or KoolPup for Tim until he feels better and he is pretty dirty I felt like I had toddlers last night with having to get up and go potty and do clean up duty.
