Pip-squeaks

For those of you who recommended Pip-squeaks on the Forum awhile back, thank you! I ordered some for Tucker and he LOVES them! Perviously the squeaky toys were his favorites, but now he loves these things! They are great for dogs that don't destroy their stuffed toys!

He'll take them on top of the couch with him, then drop them to make them sound off.

I wouldn't have tried them if they hadn't been recommended, so thanks!

Paula,
I got them from dog.com: http://www.dog.com/item/pip-squeaks/

Each one makes a different sound--Tucker seems to love that!

Dog.com seams to have the best price. The catalog says hey are $2.99 ea if you buy 2. I've seen these go as high as $8+ on Overstock. I would love to get some but Cuba still chews up his toys He loves to find innovative ways to get the stuffing out. I was also worried about the removed sound box. How big is it and how easy is it for a hav to get out?

Hope

Hope,
Here's a picture of Tucker and his pip-squeaks. They measure 5" - 6" from nose to tail. I think that if your dog can rip open seams and pull out the stuffing from normal toys, then these wouldn't be a good choice.

I wanted to see how hard it was to pull the speaker/box out; the opening is velcro, and I had trouble getting my fingers in and trying to get them out, and finally gave up messing with it. You could always try one or two and watch Cuba real close to see what you think.

The shipping stays the same amount for a larger quantity and you could order some other things to make it worthwhile. They are having a good sale on some of their toys!

Thanks for the visual Sheri. I was actually waiting for Dog.com to get them all in stock. I got a nice $20 off a $75 purchase when I registered Isabel. I asked them if they accept backorders but they do not for items less than $25.00.

I have a lot of experience with dog.com. I ordered 2 plastic Clipper crates in preparation for Isabel and they were both damaged. I got 2 replacements one one of those were damaged. Since dog.com doesn't want them back, I contacted the manufacturer and am going to get replacement parts. I figured 'll donate two of them to my local humane society...

Sheri- they are a blast. I also take out the noise maker and put treats or bunny fur in them when training
