Brody's Favorite New Treat

My piggy boy was alone at home for about an hour this AM, and my DH left his treat drawer unlatched. . .I just bought a new treat to try yesterday - Nature's Recipe Farm Stand Selects Buffalo Slices. We came home to find a shredded bag, and 5 oz of treat ALLLLL gone!

I'm hoping he won't get diarrhea. He drank a lot of water, and is lolling around looking quite pleased with himself now.

I got these for obedience school which he starts next week. I opened the bag and gave him a small piece when we left Petsmart yesterday, and had to put the bag under my thigh on the way home because he kept digging it out of the shopping bag.

So they are a great treat, except for the sugar, they have no additives or preservatives.

Anyone else tried them??

He should have gone to obedience class first. Hope he's OK. That's a lot of treats.

I haven't tried them, but they sound good (or Brody wouldn't have eaten the whole bag). I hope his tummy is ok

I wonder if what made them so tasty was the fact that they were in a bag which he probably knew it shouldn't have eaten....?

Chances are if your parents never had kids...you won't either...

I haven't tried those but I have had this happen numerous times. Dora is such a sneaky little monster! I guess I forget that fault of hers. There have been so many times that I have left my training bag, grooming bag, etc down to find a empty container, bag, etc. She has an amazing little sniffer. She has ate thru my jeans and jacket pockets as well. Obviously Dora is a fast learner... her mom, not so much!

Oh and yes to punish me even more the next day I am usually cleaning up the mess!

Too funny...I bet he was like a kid on Halloween that ate too much candy!

Brody seems just fine this AM - just keeps sniffing at the locked drawer! You're right, he definately needs classes!
As you can see, he was extremely ashamed and stressed by the whole experience!
